Q: I would like to create my own jpeg images and use them as the mouseover-items in the top level drop down menus. I am not talking about the backround. I mean the actual upfront button.
I seem to be locked into the size which is the default and would like to change it to width = 180px and height = 45px for each item in the menu.
Is there any way to do that?


A: You should create Individual Style and assign it for all top items.

Q: Is there any way to call a javascript function on mouseover from a menu item?

A: You can use your own javascript functions in the menu items.

You should paste "javascript:some_function()" into item's link field, for example:

["text", "javascript:your_function(...)", ...]
];

  var menuItems = [
["item text", "javascript:alert('Hello World')", , , , ,]
];

Unfortunately, you can't assign onmouseover/onClick event to each item. However, you can achieve this by using standard html objects within items, for example:

["<div onMouseover='your_code_here'>item text</div>", "index.html"]
];



Q: How can I manage that the last clicked javascript expanding tree item stays tree highlighted?

A: We have the following API function to highlight the pressed item in Deluxe Tree
function dtreet_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, itemID)

But unfortunately this function doesn't work for AJAX submenus.

We'll try to add this feature soon (using save state feature).

Q: I would like to know how to put items in on multiple lines for the horizontal navigation
(i.e. create a line feed), how do I tell my code to start a new menuitem on the NEXT line?

A: There are 2 ways to do that:

1) set

  var noWrap=0;

2) use <br> tags, for example:
